My girlfriend @diet__cruella is visiting all the way from the US! I booked this week as holiday to spend time together, but we are starting the week off with my secret 2nd job (Arena Direct😅) 8 boxes so far (from 29 entries), a few of the trophy decks below:

@VitoComedy People who complain about scalping don't understand simple supply and demand. Why would something that has higher demand than supply cost "MSRP"? The value inside these things usually exceedes "MSRP" too, so it makes no sense to complain. So many people playing victim these days

If these boxes are $800 at release I'm just done with trying to collect modern Magic. The scalper era is becoming too insane.

@cube_mtg This is not true. We've now opened 300 collector packs and I can tell you the real pull rates. 2-3 silver foils per collector box, you can expect the following per case (6 collector boxes) 1 Silver Mythic 4 Silver Rares 8-10 Silver Uncommons

@SaffronOlive Standard bannings? The meta is super healthy no, what card would you even consider banning?

Ban list update today. Expecting no changes outside of whatever happens with Commander. I'm hopeful that we'll get some Standard bannings when the annual (and this year biannual) "shakeup" ban list updated happens next month. Also probably time for some more Modern unbans.

@SaffronOlive Lgs owner here, no there is no incentive, you always receive the same promos and allocations no matter the formats you report, there is no reason to false report formats

If you own or work for an LGS, I have a question: is there any incentive for you to reports events as Standard even if people are actually playing another format?

I'm legit so sad I can't get access to any riftbound lol. 3 packages from EU all stopped and NA contacts are all sold out now. Not sure how to even practice before events w/ friends LOL

@a_aron987 Not sure if you know this or not, but LGS are forced to buy certain brand of sleeves by distributors; for the RIGHT to buy Pokemon product.

I do not care how good you say your sleeve brand is, if I can't buy it at my LGS I'm not using it.

Numbers Big! This is my favorite Spacecraft, it really conveys the "nuke it from orbit" feel. I think we only made a single change to this card ever, which is unusual. I've got some casual combo decks brewed up with Screaming Nemesis and Pain for All I'm excited to try out!

@terlollo15 It's great they got this many players. However it probably has to do because it's draft and not standard According to wizard's rules all store championships have to be standard.

I’m currently playing a 22 people Final Fantasy Draft Store Championship! This is proof that if LGS owners focus on building a loyal community and aren’t greedy, they can achieve great things!

@terlollo15 Also happens in UK sadly. I contact stores and some say "sorry we have no packs" or "we don't have enough players" even when I bring 5/6 friends apparently they won't have enough (you need minimum 4 to fire) and you don't need packs, just the promos :/

Midweek Magic Turn 4 win every time. Cast Jace, cascade into Treasure Hunt, draw your deck, mill your opponent for two, draw from an empty deck. Do your 3 wins and stop! Don't farm this for daily wins so others can still enjoy this event. @fireshoes @sakage1415 @jamdotpan
