Dear Versha, I respect and appreciate your work for the show and the community. That being said, I think the point here is being missed. It's not about these 4 being friends and "joking about eo all the time". No matter how close they may be in private, in public they're ONLY perceived through their work relationships and professional roles. At a professional event about their professional work, RR and JT couldn't even uphold a basic level of professionalism when it comes to a junior cast member of color over whom they clearly hold power in the workplace dynamics. Their reactions to Hudson merely being mentioned were utterly unethical and inappropriate. What makes the optics even more damaging is that they have already chosen to stay silent in the face of months of unwarranted attacks and racially charged hatred directed at Hudson. The show's core message is "everyone deserves to be loved equally", but it seems that RR and JT don't really mean it beyond the scripted fictional plot.

is this your first time stanning an actor ? thats not how it works. you can be sad you're not getting content ig but you cant blame it on them (especially on hudson) OR their management 😭 this is not kpop and they're not in yg's prison

I don't wanna assume anything about Hudson's relationship with Jacob or Rachel because I don't know either of them. Hudson might be totally fine with whatever they're saying about him. However I will say that the optics are terrible and I totally understand why people are starting to get very pissed off by the words used to describe him. The flippant attitude by both Rachel and Jacob, as if Hudson and his words are something to dismiss because he's just so silly, has gotten very old. At the very least the joke has gotten old. We like to keke as much as the next person but since that's the only thing we ever hear them say about him, it's starting to feel and sound like disrespect.
