The annual Time Traveller’s #Club only meets once, in 2024. I’m 18 the first time I go. Then 19. Then 20. I stand in the corner by myselves, swapping future gossip for crystal clear memories. I’m 26 today. I can’t see 27, but I try not to worry about it. #vss365 #Sunthing 509

Returning from hiatus to pay my respects to my friend Scott. We were close in many ways, though not nearly as close as I would have liked. They were a indomitable spirit, a passionate writer, and a brave supporter of LGBTQ+ rights. They will live on in all of our hearts 💙

I was just telling this guy how important it is to listen more than you talk. I’ve been telling people all morning. They try to argue but I don’t tolerate that jibber-jabber. Listening more than speaking is that important to me. It’s a way of life. There’s nothing to discuss.

I grew up in the Christian church, hearing that being gay (or at least being in a same-sex relationship) was wrong. Far more recently than I’d like to admit (February of 2020), I officially went public as an LGBTQ+ affirming Christian (in this article: link.medium.com/vcEpj5okjgb).
