It's hard to listen to Kagame's endless "press conferences" with a straight face. Given the careful prior vetting of "questions", the absence of honest engagement or insight, one wonder why he bothers giving them, apart from the fact that he likes the sound of his own voice.

Our pathological liar has exposed himself again. When asked by @OndiroOganga from @Bloomberg about Rwanda’s gold exports, Kagame acted unaware that Gasabo Gold Refinery is under EU sanctions. He confirmed the refinery is operating & that Rwanda is exporting gold to the EU & US.

The goal is simple: expose the truth about Rwanda’s regime. We face dictatorship, oppression, violence, ethnic cleansing, and injustice. It was -3°C in Poland, I couldn’t make a long video, but I hope the message is clear. Share to spread the truth. #FreeVictoireIngabire

#URGENT 🛑 | Rwandan former Foreign Minister Charles Murigande boldly called out President Kagame, stating: “The real problem with many African leaders is greed — leaders who loot the nation’s wealth and leave nothing for the people they’re supposed to serve.” This critique strikes at the heart of governance failure in Rwanda, where economic inequality is masked by polished PR. 📉 Rwanda’s Economic Status (2025): GDP per capita: $970–$1,100 USD Poverty rate: 67% of citizens live below the poverty line Youth unemployment: High and rising Foreign aid dependence: Over 70% of the national budget Rural poverty remains widespread, despite Kigali’s image makeover Behind the skyscrapers lies a nation where the elite thrive, and the majority survive.

Rwanda has become a country where @RwandaGov accountability no longer exists. Kagame is one of Africa’s most frequent travelers, yet #Rwandans are never told where he goes, what he does, or how his trips benefit the country and how much it even costs. His office @UrugwiroVillage has a press secretary @PressSecRwanda, but they never brief the media, never issue statements, and never share updates about the president’s official activities or visitors. The government spokesperson @YolandeMakolo is also silent with no press conferences, no public explanations, nothing. Meanwhile, Rwanda’s media landscape has been gutted. The journalists who once dared to ask hard questions are either in prison, in exile, dead, or have been forced into silence or self-censorship. What remains now are unprofessional whacks in the media sanitising or mimicking everything the government does just so they can survive the day. Rwanda under Kagame no longer functions like a republic. It operates like a kingdom / a dictatorship where fear replaces freedoms.
Presidency | Rwanda@UrugwiroVillage

This morning in Doha, President Kagame met with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani @TamimBinHamad, the Emir of Qatar, on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development. Their discussions focused on the excellent relations between Rwanda and the State of Qatar, and the multiple areas of fruitful bilateral collaboration.

Who Really Killed John Magufuli? When Kagame’s RPF assassinated President Juvénal Habyarimana, they immediately blamed his own army. When President Pierre Nkurunziza was allegedly poisoned, the RPF shifted blame onto Evariste Ndayishimiye. Now, they accuse Samia Hassan of President Magufuli’s death. Do you notice the pattern? Each time Kagame’s RPF eliminates a leader, they turn around and accuse that leader’s inner circle. It’s a deliberate strategy—divide the people, fuel hatred, and then use that division as a tool of control. They’ve perfected this method over many years. Since the M23 war began, Rwanda’s propaganda machines have continuously attacked former Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete through YouTube channels and newspapers. They constantly repeat that President Samia Suluhu is a good leader, but that Kikwete is manipulating her. If you read between the lines, it suggests that after Magufuli’s death, Kagame’s network almost succeeded in gaining influence over Tanzania—something Kikwete may have resisted. Had they succeeded, Tanzania might have been used as a tool against the DRC. This gives us insight into why, just days before the elections, Humphrey Pole Pole was allegedly used to defame both Samia and Kikwete, accusing them of killing Magufuli, to sow unrest and confusion during the polls. Both Magufuri and Nkurunziza were likely assassinated during Covid 19, after they refused to lockdown their countries, the use of facial mask and vaccines. Now you are getting a clue about who possibly assassinated them. Those who are invading DRC are also the same guys behind that plot. The problem is to figure out who did they use? It seems Tanzania’s enemies know exactly who were used to eliminate Magufuli. They might even be threatening those who were involved in that assassination to run smear campaigns against the Tanzanian leadership, dividing them, aiming to destabilize and weaken the nation from within. What is happening now if not handled carefully it could be the start of Tanzania's downfall!

The @Rncongress suspends @Dr_JNsengiyumva following his appointment as Kagame’s regime prime minister. Justin Nsengiyumva was an active RNC Member in their United Kingdom chapter. His sudden return and promotion stunned many. His political journey is far from ordinary. While serving as Permanent Secretary in Rwanda’s Ministry of Infrastructure, he was implicated in a corruption scandal, jailed, and later escaped prison. He was convicted in absentia and became a fugitive. RNC’s suspension of Nsengiyumva is a defensive but necessary move to maintain its political integrity as an opposition party but this reveals the persistent risks faced by opposition groups in exile, where the regime’s reach - and ability to compromise or convert dissidents - remains very strong.

Rwanda’s new Prime Minister, @Dr_JNsengiyumva, is not a fresh face. He was once jailed for corruption, escaped from prison, and was later sentenced in absentia. Years later, he quietly returned as Deputy Governor of the @CentralBankRw. Now, Kagame has named him Prime Minister. In most democracies, a criminal record and prison break would end a political career. In Rwanda, it seems to be a qualification - provided you're loyal to the regime. This appointment isn't about competence or redemption. It’s about obedience. Nsengiyumva is also listed as a registered member of the @Rncongress - RNC, an opposition group #Kagame deems “terrorist.” That affiliation would land others in prison or exile. But for Nsengiyumva, it was never a problem - again, because loyalty, not law, defines Kagame's power structure. Kagame, himself accused of war crimes and fueling conflict in eastern #DRCongo, has built a system where disgraced officials are recycled and rewarded, not purged. Integrity and public trust are irrelevant. What matters is personal allegiance. This is not an isolated case. Across Rwanda’s government, military, intelligence, and business elite, many of Kagame’s closest allies have been implicated in scandals - from embezzlement to political repression to regional war crimes. Yet they remain protected or promoted as long as they serve his interests. Rwanda is not a meritocracy. It is not a transparent state. It is a tightly controlled autocracy where power flows through loyalty to one man.
