Charlie Kirk's mentor just died in a freak pickleball accident. That's an incredibly strange coincidence. If you're going to say that's not weird, that there are tons of pickleball fatalities, you sound nuts. I don't know what happened but I don't think this is perfectly normal.

@smoodiejr @realdanmitchell I certainly understand the idea. My opinion is you pay Allen $40M to make it work with imperfect situation. He made a bad situation great last year. Now with a solid WR room. Good line and RB. I have zero concern on O. Best player available defense is my thought but WR is fun

@253Coug @realdanmitchell Even looking at it through that lens - S, LB and WR have the most uncertainty after this season, but only one is a premium position. Also, S and LB usually get pushed down the board due to positional value so there’s more of a chance to find answers beyond R1 or 2 in comparison.

@smoodiejr @realdanmitchell Depth now is starters in the not so distant future. And they will play meaningfully even if 2 on depth chart
I have no worries that current O is top offense in NFL next year and a WR added makes it better sure, but seems like throwing capital at the side that is not a concern

@253Coug @realdanmitchell Depth is needed and I think most of the draft will be on the defensive side of the ball to address that. I’m just not sure about using a first round pick for depth especially if they see an opportunity to upgrade/fill a starting position.

@smoodiejr @realdanmitchell I think you’re right about Williams. I have high hopes for him in the new downhill system. Dorian will do well.
Now, I don’t like going WR regardless and hope they go best available on D regardless. Depth is needed for a defense that will rotate sets frequently

@realdanmitchell Depending on how they feel about Williams, a WR might actually have the easiest path to starting in year 1. I would still bet on Edge though since they likely want/need more juice there.

@AndyYoungTV I think they are doing a good job of picking high upside guys with minimal long term risk.
This defense can easily be good if players adapt well to the Leonard system. A good defense is a Super Bowl team with how good the O is

I think the Bills have upgraded WR, edge, safety.
Losses at guard and fullback could sting.
There haven’t been the spectacular blockbusters, but I think it’s been a solid start.

This is a good safety class as far as drafts go.
Bills need to grab one of Thieneman, Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, or Downs (with some magic.)
Solve a lot of issues.

@TheBillsGuys @NateGearySports Thieneman. If BBB has confidence he can land Dillon in the draft I have no issues passing on the remaining FA’s. Having two athletic freaks who are versatile in the back would make it very difficult for opposing offenses.

In Groot and Chubb, the Bills have a pair of bookends that generate pressure, but also understand how to set the edge. Ends that sell out to get that one or two sacks a game but give up multiple chunk yards around the end personally drive me nuts. Containing mobile QBs and collapsing the pocket is the way.

The real test will be how the corners transition from primary zone to man coverage. If they can do this, may be a top 12 D.

@David58154759 @PFWarroom D line is good (I’d love a true NT tho). Williams fits Leonard system well and should really take a step up being a blitzer more often at LB. Safety not a hard fill (draft) and the rest of secondary is already good/young/improving. Lot of potential and they don’t need to b elite

@Buffwagon819 Exactly right. Will the defense be the weaker side of the ball, for sure. But they look formidable in current state and will likely be an average to slightly above average squad by the end of offseason which should be enough with the offensive talent in place.

I can't wait until the Bills plug in value guys and draft picks in this new scheme, the defense looks good, and all this bitching and moaning looks dumb.
