It always amazes me that people can't believe Biden won in 2020. With half a million dead from COVID, while Trump buried reports of the outbreak for the first two months of the pandemic, and the economic fallout from quarantines. You have to be a special kind of 'thick' to believe Trump got anywhere near the majority of votes. But Trump is a special kind of pigheaded huckster and has insisted ever since that his assault on the Capitol during Certification was justified because of election rigging. He has committed so many crimes in his effort to rewrite the history of his obvious loss to Biden.

But no matter how brilliant a Trump lawyer has been, no matter how well they know the law, no matter how vivid their notion of what is just and accurate, it will all take a back seat to the will of Trump. And Trump will steer them like a Dodge Charger on the back roads of Hazzard Co. GA. Never mind the investigations of Robert Mueller, the arrests, the criminal referrals. Never mind the findings of aggressive Russian interference in the 2016 election in support of candidate Trump by the Senate Select Cmte on Intelligence, chaired by Marco Rubio, our current Sec of State. Our Acting AG insists there's 'absolutely nothing to it.' So Maria nods and moves on. I guess Blanche really wants the 'Acting' part of his title to be removed and he knows who he's performing for.
