What CFL, regular season, game is going to draw that number (other then the Banjo Bowl 😜)? 15k, in a 65k venue looks awful on t.v.

@Stevecoady416 @DarynFunk @JohnDHodge @3DownNation My point is, we are not going to put a Mosaic Stadium or Princess Auto Stadium in Halifax, no. But, the CFL, with the CFL teams, can put a 20 thousand seat place in a major Maritime city. See where it goes.

Was it Rider, Eskimo, Bomber crowds? No, but they were winning. Montreal loves champions. Now look at the product.

@Stevecoady416 @DarynFunk @JohnDHodge @3DownNation I played for the Carleton Ravens, and played at OLD McGill Stadium. Field, dressing rooms, fans (🤣) horrible! But, the Alouettes came back. Did they go back to the Big O? No. They played at McGill. They started small and cheap, and drummed up capital through on field product

@Stevecoady416 @DarynFunk @JohnDHodge @3DownNation Not opposed to the "close to the border concept".., hell, I was born and raised in a border town. But this isn't like hockey. The rules are not universal (CFLvsUFL/XFL vsNFL). Stadium sizes are not universal. Hard to convert a U.S. football stadium to a CFL field (etc.)

I think they are in a different situation now. They can take a calculated approach. Imo St Louis in the CFL would be another Baltimore. A huge success.

I'm not a spring ball hater.., I'm just a 51 year old football fan who watches football, and actually played the game at the collegiate level.

(And I agree with this person's idea), have ALL CFL teams contribute resources ($$$) in the above noted markets. Having games in the Maritimes is a good first step. CFL, stop trying to 🇺🇲ize the 🇨🇦 game!

You have to expand Argo football interest OUTSIDE of metro Toronto. Do an Argo practice in Kenora, Thunder Bay, Subury, etc. The Bombers have done that here in Manitoba.
