I spent a lot of time on #mastodon today searching nature, science, art hashtags and sadly, it was a big letdown. Anyone else have that experience? I think I might be stuck on this blue bird.
Okay, so I’m digging into #MastodonSocial some more and I have a different perspective today. There aren’t very many people on it (that I can find) for #SciArt or #SciComm so that’s kind of exciting…if you go over WE can build that community together! @kellylance@sfba.social

In the right conditions an oak grows for 300yrs. It then lives for another 300yrs – no more growth just a little restoration. At this stage it beautifully sustains its life taking & giving just enough for its own welfare and that of thousands of other species too. #treeconomics
