kyle dubas: no one is being blocked by these players
the players: we love playing for this team
pens fans: we love these players
josh yohe, for some reason:
@Canes Good series win by you guys. Maybe you should take some notes from Rod about philly. We respect the hell out of him and your team. Stop forcing hate once again.
Rumor: Kyle Dubas had his mind made up before the season started that this would be Evgeni Malkin's final year. And he doesn't want to deviate from that long-range plan.
I buy this. I however would bring Geno back. One more year.
@PenguinsJesus The only thing helping you guys tonight is the flyers. If they come out flat like Saturday, you will win. If they come out like the first three games, you will lose. Jersey colors don’t mean sh!t.
How do you eat an elephant?
One bite at a time.
The Penguins won’t disgrace themselves.
They will beat the filthy Flyers tonight.
Final score: Penguins 3 Flyers 2 OT
Sidney Crosby game-winner.
Pens are outmatched. That 2001 ECF against the Devils where the pens actually got a split in NJ, real ones already knew the series was over. If you’ve seen enough playoff series, you already know what’s going to happen in Philly tonight, you can feel it in your bones.
@PenguinsJesus They’re too fast. I remember when we used to be the faster team in series and we all knew the goals would come . Not happening this time
@PenguinsJesus it seemed like Flyers were slowing down towards the end. Pens need to make some changes but I think they take game 3 when pressure changes to Flyers to perform at home and then we will see from there
@PenguinsJesus Concerned. Thinking I made a mistake wanting the Flyers. Like tonight is a must win even though it’s only game 2. 2012 keeps replaying in my mind and I wish it would stop.
@ThePensInsider Losing game 1 at home is usually a bad omen. I hope I’m wrong but I think they’re toast of history tells me anything. It was like 2012 series all over again. When they respond to the physical stuff they get off their game .
Hardly ideal to get behind a series early, but that’s where the #Penguins are after losing the opener to the Flyers, 3-2, at home last night. Let’s talk about it, shall we? Here are #5PensThoughts on game 1:
