2nd Farningham & Eynsford Brownies

The Brownies wanted to share their recently completed interest badges. We saw some wonderful collections and adverts for dream jobs. They then chose to start their charities badge! We had charities for various animals, children's hospitals, and supporting women in STEM.

@CraftyRhymer That's it! Fortunately, the dashes are paper straw, so I've just removed that bit now. The Brownies love this type of activity.

@2FEBrownies Well, I got to TA.... before I had to get out my crib sheet...and I think it's intended to read "TAWNY" which I might have guessed had it not been for the fact that there's a rogue dash changing the "N" (which I know) to a "K" (which I seldom recall) 😂

The Brownies learnt about how the Guides worked at MI5 during WW1 this week. We had a go at decoding some words in Morse code and then used our new skills to make jewellery! Our new Brownie made an extra one... Do you know whose it is?

Hint: yellow beads are spacers and there does seem to be a small typo(!)

@CraftyRhymer Yes! It used to frequent our pond occasionally too but this was in the fields beyond Castle Farm. Could be from Lullingstone...

14 of our Brownies went on an autumnal Sunday morning hike. We walked 7 km/4.3 miles and spotted lots of signs of autumn, identified different leaves, a pumpkin patch, and a heron! 🍂🍁🌰

Brownies LOVE to be creative! Excellent autumnal scenes in boxes this evening. Lovely to see the Sixers and Seconders taking the lead and bringing their sixes vision to life!

Foxy, our new Brownie bear, challenged the Brownies to replicate the picture while their plates were on their heads! Some interesting drawings...

Very busy Brownies this week! We packaged our seedballs ready for gifting to our friends, family and community. @Guiding_LaSER @EynsfordParish

Seedball update! How good do these look?! We're going to be sharing them with our community and raising awareness of the importance of wildflowers!

This week we learnt all about wildflowers from our friends at Eynsford in Bloom and made some seed bombs with them and using some locally gathered seeds! We also had a visit from some Rainbows who will be joining us soon. 🌻🌷🌈🫶
