There are lots of reasons writers can’t go to #AWP. Some lack the $. Others can’t find dependent care. Others are sick/disabled. I won’t get into my own reasons for missing it (despite how close it is to me this year 😞 ). I’ll just say, to my fellow FOMO sufferers, solidarity 🫂

@Katie_Dozier Appreciate this, Katie. It’s Frontier Poetry. I’m hearing from others that they’ve had similar experiences, so it’s not just a one-off. Really disappointing. I know this mag publishes great things, and also is tied to Palette … so don’t quite want to shout from the rooftops
