Working with my physicist colleagues at the @uni_regensburg is a privilege and a lot of fun. The @FGiessibl pushed their high-end qPlus sensor AFM technique to image archaeal S-layers ... here is the result 😍arxiv.org/abs/2307.07052 (just accepted in JPCB). @DanielaTarau

A new chapter in the “all things archaea” story at the #ArchaeaCentre Regensburg: our long-term Archaeophile Winfried Hausner turned 60. Pyrococcus furiosus joined our celebrations and made a cake especially for him!! We truly love our #archaea 😊!
