🟩 In the second part of the training, Professor @drnblagden from @DerbyUni explained the Risk and Desistance Hexagon, developed within #2PS. "The Risk and Desistance Hexagon helps practitioners to ask the right questions and explore the right dimensions", he explained.

How can we work with individuals who are not disclosing? What could help us understand their risk? Trainees, from different backgrounds such as Law and Enforcement Agencies, helplines and therapeutic settings, shared and discussed their practices.

❓How do we define risk? Professor @drnblagden from the @DerbyUni is introducing the trainees to risk assessment, specifically explaining ways of assessing risk and structured professional judgement, and illustrating strengths and criticisms as well as gaps and ways forward.
