Ari, soccer is a unique sport where you can pack the box on defense and make it very difficult for a superior team to score. If you keep eight or nine men in the box at all time, there’s no space to pass. Very typically, the lesser team does this and tries to hope for a counter attack quick strike for a goal. If Spain scored one time they would’ve scored five….

I don't know anything about soccer, so forgive me for my ignorance, but how is it humanly possible for Cape Verde to assemble a team that can prevent Spain from scoring a goal?

@blakeofspades11 one film that was comparable to motu was shazam 1, and shazam was way better. it had a villain who was evil but in a somewhat relatable way (being a rejected candidate) and it had a you make your family concept which is good, and the sense of wonder after transform just better

@2Proud2Bow Which is why the movie feels disjointed. They tried too hard to appeal to two different audiences that don’t really have anything in common with each other. As for quality, I think for what Amazon was going for, the quality is actually damn good!

Sheesh! I’m starting to think that it won’t even cross the century mark. By all standards, even if Amazon MGM isn’t sweating bullets over this, I don’t think it looks good for sequels or spinoffs in the future. Hopefully it blows up on Prime but I just don’t know. I’m losing hope

@blakeofspades11 Dune's story couldn't be more generic now, the prince of fallen house take revenge of the rival who destroyed his father, the gimmick was this idea that by taking up this messiah role to win you will doom billions of people in a jihad, that was the killer gimmick motu lacked.

@kevinwildes i have never seen usa this good, the ability to hold ball in tight spaces, the ability to create those pirlo mid range through balls with perfect run. usa used to be only about to score like counter attacks or header from a cross, this type of high level playmaking didn't exist
