We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old. We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.

My daughters asked me who drives best among them. I said: Honestly, all three of you did not get the point of driving. They were shocked. I told them: A good driver is someone you don’t notice as a passenger. No hard acceleration, no harsh braking, no sudden steering. Just smooth, calm, and always looking ahead. It’s not about being fast — it’s about being smooth and in control.

My great uncle who was a real life pool shark/alcoholic with no acting background randomly ended up working on the set of the movie River of no return with Marilyn Monroe and Robert Mitchum. That said uncle had a good impression on Marilyn and they apparently went on a date. He was also smart enough at the time to ask for a picture, and 70 years later, that picture is still in our family.

Kevin Magnussen has a career F1 point total of 202 in 187 starts. He last drove for Haas in 2024. He also made one #IndyCar start in 2021.

We are saddened to hear about the passing of award-winning writer Howard Fendrich. Howard was the ultimate professional and positively impacted the entire media room and everyone at the organization that he encountered. Howard will be greatly missed by everyone who had the honor and privilege to know him. On behalf of the entire Commanders organization, we want to extend our condolences to the Fendrich family and all who knew and loved him.
