i THINK he did the same thing he did with TAD - hiding "you" behind "rain," but here "she" is hidden behind "he," as a result of specific pronunciation, but not hidden well enough to go unnoticed. "she" is fully audible with isolated vocals.

Ok random thought but “you’re the one I see, even with the lights out” and “he was the light, until I watched him fade away.” Finn still sees him even when his light is gone, when the “lights (are) out” and still made his “life worth living”. IDGAF TAD ISNT ABOUT HIS MOM.
