Songs that seem out of place when it's not Xmas. Listening to a station playing Madonna's 'Dear Jessie'- no mention of Xmas (and not a great song) but to me sounds seasonal. Like Frankie -Power of Love or Freheit. Am I weird? :)

I found a brilliant website that recreates authentic radio mugs. So I bought one remembering the station that first let me cross their threshold to volunteer- they are to blame! And one from one of the first stations to pay me!! Great work by Captain's Cup. Check them out online

Radio is a big part of many of my friends' lives. It's soul destroying when you lose your role, like BBC local staff. But you have more skills than most- communication is an asset. Great to spend the night with Kev + Vicky Stewart- and we hardly mentioned radio. Life evolves.
