Is it only me because I LOVED this ambitious sequence. Yeah the cg aren’t the best but the bg looks fairly good and mixes well with the Yuta’s movements. The sheer spectacle element makes up for it. Hell, this should be praised purely because they attempted in the first place.

In an episode packed with amazing action&effects animation, surprisingly, this was my favorite sequence. The anticipation, even of the smallest finger movement was so strong that I could physically feel the struggle myself. Fujimoto might be the best modern acting animator.
