The person in the public toilet is a stranger to me. I have no interest in their genitalia, either at birth or now. What they do alone in a closed toilet booth is also of no interest to me. I’ll just be getting on with my own business, washing my hands & leaving. As will they.

And now we have a peverse bit of law that actively dehumanises some people and confuses everyone else. It's a law that only 'works' if people and institutions ignore or break it. What a waste of life.

Naturally, we've been waiting with bated breath to find out what Billy Bragg thinks of the EHRC code, and here it is. TL;DR he's trying to equate single sex spaces - which benefit lesbians and gay men - with Section 28, which prohibited the promotion of homosexuality.
