I’ve never seen a party lean so heavily into hating its own voters. But also, this is rich coming from Booker who after a historic filibuster immediately voted for one of Trump’s most corrupt nominations (which is saying something!).

Gerrymander bills increase the likelihood that a state's median voter gets to enjoy the congressional majority they prefer -- this is true in Virginia and also in Texas. The bills aren't disenfranchising, which is why they pass, and why you need a federal solution.

The SC is expected to rule on it within the next week or so. They should have issued their ruling before this vote even took place. It's a joke they did not
