@KevinDunn01 @chrisgb002000 I interviewed 3 guys who played for both the 82 & 83 teams: Roger Clemens, Calvin Schiraldi & Kirk Killingsworth. They all said that 83 should be ranked higher. Quote from Kirk: "The greatest team I ever played for would no question be the 1983 UT National Champions Longhorns."

@chrisgb002000 I don’t really remember this team but all of the people who would know would say the ‘82 team. I would say ‘85 with that offense as #2. ‘83 # 3, ‘84 # 4 & 89 #5. All played for a NC..only one won it. So I guess ‘83. Gus told me they should have knocked out 2-3 that decade.

@chrisgb002000 @KevinDunn01 The 82 team was amazing, but they went 2-2 and finished in fourth place at the College World Series. The 83 team was able to take home the championship and finish as the #1 team in the nation. National Championships held a lot of weight for me in the rankings.
