You can post on social media ALL DAY, go on podcasts and criticize, and tear down other creators, but you can’t even communicate with people who gave you their hard earned money, on a regular basis, for a comic book that is almost a year late. Again: COMMUNICATION IS KEY

“Support” will always be throwing your face. -YBZ I don’t see many backers happy after July of 2025. The creator doesn’t even reply to their backers, and posts infrequent updates. This is how NOT to run a campaign, even if you’re delayed. COMMUNICATION IS KEY!

@Aaron_Sparrow I like both these guys. Admittedly, I have a lot more fun reading Zack’s books. That don’t make Eric’s bad, or vice versa. I don’t need to pick sides. It’s possible to like both. It’s also okay for them to criticize each other. It’s like yall like arguing over Coke. Same shit.

Allow me to answer this disingenuous “Goo-Goo Ga-Ga, me no understand” “question.” The first ISOM book had, and capitalized, on mass mainstream attention (the thing you had, Richard, and fumbled) and a lot of people supported the book on principle. The people who READ and are INTERESTED in comics is obviously much smaller, and Rippaverse has thus far been able to maintain enough of that base and continue to not only publish, but support multiple employees and freelancers. Maybe instead of worrying about the business model of another indie (that’s crushing yours, btw) it would behoove you to focus on your own. How much did L.A. Ex bring in again? How many backers were there? How is COMIC BOOK: THE COMIC BOOK coming along? Bitterness and jealousy are a stinky cologne.

@JoshDenofNerds Just like the Secret Wars omnibuses that have been released over the last year and a half. The Hickman Secret Wars just came out a few months ago. I believe Avengers vs X-Men did as well.

Also hearing Tarantula is in SM4 🤣 I actually hope it's Black Tarantula, who's just as obscure but cooler IMO
