I genuinely can't believe we're looking at the possibility of Carlos Alcaraz missing the French Open as the defending champion, a year on from winning one of the greatest finals of all time. Absolute disaster of a situation. Really hope he manages to recover for it but wrist injuries... aren't easy to overcome quickly!

The decision to play Barcelona just 48 hours after Monte Carlo final is looking more and more moronic by the hour. Alcaraz really needs a very strong minded coach who can put the brakes on such stupid scheduling ideas.

Hoje eu lembrei da ultima vez que Roger Federer venceu um tenista do Big 3 em Grand Slam, foi neste incrível e subestimado jogo dele contra o Rafael Nadal nas semifinais de Wimbledon em 2019, que acabaria sendo a 40ª e ultima vez que os 2 iriam se enfrentar. Acho que o tênis não encontrou o substituto do suíço ainda, se o Alcaraz lembra o Nadal e o Sinner de certa maneira lembra o Djokovic, ninguém tem o estilo do Federer atualmente, era um jogador único, muito talento natural e um repertorio incrível, e beirando aos 38 anos teve essa atuação fantástica para avançar a sua ultima final de Grand Slam, vencendo um Nadal muito competitivo, que infelizmente pela sequencia ruim que teve na grama de 2012 a 2017, ficou muito subestimado na superfície, mas a verdade é que o espanhol também é um tremendo jogador de grama não atoa foi finalista de Wimbledon 5 vezes.
