In the Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi volume 8, Shoichi Usui revealed in the Shuten Touji character profile that by the time Touji appeared on ch15, the series was already "decided to be axed", which fortunately got changed! Now, going by dates, is pretty easy to see what happened:

Recently I was able to get some hands on with 007 First Light on GeForce RTX. Had a blast so far and game has an excellent mix of combat as well as stealth. Of course, will support Path Tracing and DLSS 4.5 as well! Checkout this combat sequence 👀

@SenseiOfLife Yeah I get it, the series is mostly well known for the clever and creative fights, choreography, and characters. The story is serviceable but nothing special. The anime really didn't do the manga justice though I'll be real cause imo it has some of the best fights ever

@SenseiOfLife Story also ramps up a lot in cour 2 after the whole death row prisoners arc, honestly I would say go into it if you're not looking for any like deep story or something like that. At it's core Sakamoto Days is just dumb fun action with cool characters
