Haven’t been on here much, so here’s a little update.
Been trying to break into the spotter ranks more but realistically hard to do as a full time job unless you have a cup deal. That hasn’t come to fruition just yet. That being said I can always work on them just as much.
Brad Keselowski isn’t in the playoffs, but 10 years ago, he earned his career moment by capturing a Cup title. With it being 10 years, some things might have been forgotten about his story, so here’s our latest “You Kids Don’t Know” video: Brad Keselowski and that 2012 title.
Today was a day I will never forget. We had the opportunity to visit Camp Grayling & meet with National Guard troops from all over the country & join them in training. Showing our strength is how we keep peace in the world. I’m thankful for the strength of these men & women. 🇺🇸
Dad’s last racing trophies arrived to my shop today. The track he won it at in Maine customarily gives it out 1 year later to the winner in person. Shame he couldn’t be there to collect.
Through his last summer all he cared about was winning this hat.
Fun old school type race today. Could have been a few cautions late but they kept it in their pockets and it was a better race for it. 6 car was ok today until we had to miss the front stretch wreck and it knocked something loose, so it had to get fixed and lost some time. P26
Well the auction is set to finish up tomorrow. This week we will hopefully get everything shipped out. I hate this, but it’s what has to be done. Dad would not be happy with me right now.
Still sad we have to go this route, but the rest of everything left at our shop is going up for auction. More photos will be posted soon. Hopefully we can get thru this and better things come of it. I hardly can even look at this place anymore. ironhorseauction.com/auction/surplu…
One of the greatest fears as a team owner, was that my hauler would be involved in something like what happened this morning to DGR. No matter how well you hope to prepare, there’s a chance things can go wrong. Hope for the best but it doesn’t look good. 🙏🏻
After 29 years of working on the cars/Trucks day in and day out, it’s time for a little change of scenery to be more permanent. I really enjoyed doing it last year, and look forward to this season more focused on just spotting.
Been thinking about it for a while now, and it’s time for a little career change. While I love working on race cars and always still will in some capacity, on the nascar side of things I’d like to steer more towards spotting.
Said goodbye to my dad, Hal Little, today. He was an incredible entertainer…an accomplished drummer since age 12. He was an RCA recording artist with the band Orange Colored Sky in the 70s, even opening for Frank Sinatra! He loved Harleys, Kansas and fishing. Rest easy dad. ❤️
@keselowski Hang in there Brad. I lost my Mom Monday, and lost my Dad a year ago. It’s very tough, but just hang in there…. Everyday will get a little better but you’ll never forget I’m sure. May he rest in peace, and our prayers are with you and your family.
My dad will always be my hero. He was quiet and understated, but that didn’t change the impact he had on me or that I watched him have on everyone who knew him. I am forever grateful for what I learned from this man, and I will remember him every day.
