USING small size (micro contracts vs mini) is a good way to start until you get confident with your method.
MOST intraday futures traders start out thinking they are gonna make loads of money.
YOU need to trade very small contracts for several months until you see your method is consistent.
THE market could trend up for several weeks and you get used to playing LONGS and then it tops out and trends down.
ALWAYS use a stop to prevent price from going against you and blowing your account. IT happens often.
LOOK for small pieces of the potential run. COMPOUNDING adds up and locking in some of the gain helps the account stay green.
