Join hosts Phil Anderton, CEO of ADHD 360, and John Reynolds as they explore the realisation that comes not from looking back, but from seeing yourself clearly for the first time. 📺 Watch Episode 17 at 9am on Bloomberg TV (Sky 502, Virgin 609, Freesat 208) #ADHDBeyondTheLabel #ADHD #ADHDAwareness

Tomorrow’s episode of ADHD Beyond the Label explores one of the most valuable concepts in ADHD support: the island of competence. This is the area where someone consistently functions well, despite challenges elsewhere. It is where strengths become visible, where confidence starts to build, and where people begin to feel capable. Stuart Trevor joins ADHD 360 CEO Phil Anderton and co-host John Reynolds to talk about why recognising this space matters - and how it can shape the way we support people with ADHD across education and beyond. 📺 Episode 17 airs tomorrow at 9am on Bloomberg TV - Sky 502, Virgin 609, Freesat 208 #ADHDBeyondTheLabel #ADHD #ADHDAwareness

This Saturday on ADHD Beyond the Label, ADHD 360 CEO Phil Anderton and co-host John Reynolds sit down with fashion designer Stuart Trevor - founder of AllSaints and now STUART TREVOR London. Stuart has always done things differently. As a kid, he was in detention every day. Not because he was badly behaved, but because he challenged the rules. He customised his school uniform. He questioned what he was told. That same way of thinking shaped how he approached his career. In this episode, Stuart talks about how ADHD has influenced the way he works and thinks. He describes being able to walk into a room, look at a thousand things, and know exactly what to focus on. He also talks about the harder parts. Simple tasks, like printing shipping labels or ticking off lists, have always felt much more difficult. This is not a story about fitting in. It is about thinking differently, creating differently, and learning to work in a way that suits your mind. 📺 Episode 17 airs this Saturday at 9am on Bloomberg TV - Sky 502, Virgin 609, Freesat 208 #ADHD #ADHDAwareness #ADHDBeyondTheLabel

People with hypermobility have joints that move beyond the normal range of motion. It can lead to chronic pain and other physical challenges. Research has shown that hypermobility can co-occur with ADHD and that people with ADHD may have significantly more symptoms related to hypermobility than those without an ADHD diagnosis. People with ADHD and hypermobility can experience: ✅ Chronic pain and fatigue that may worsen inattention or hyperactive symptoms. ✅ Mobility issues that may may increase clumsiness, impact motor skills and affect emotional well‑being. ✅ Sensory overload with heightened stress and sensory sensitivity. ✅ Hypermobility that co-occurs with ADHD needs to be treated concurrently to manage symptoms effectively.
