I think the reason that it’s tough for aew to follow up a PPV with a strong dynamite is everyone is just spent. AEW matches are longer with less down time and imo wrestlers do a lot more and take more damage than other places… Solutions: Brand “Wednesdays after POV” ( with a better name) similar to raw after mania.. but after every ppv. Cut some matches from PPV and put them in dynamite, but make it as prestigious. (Killing 2 birds here) Multi man party match of ppv stars every time. Save some returns for dynamite instead of PPV. End PPVs with a cliffhanger from ppv. Shorter PPV’s (less 2-3 matches) have zero downside, and can only help dynamite.
