#Rom365, March 24, 1078, Nikephoros III Botaneiates entered #Constantinople to be crowned emperor, although he took power on Jan. 7 when he had deposed Michael VII Doukas. One of his generals was Alexios Komnenos who did likewise, deposed Nikephoros to become emperor in 1081.

English

#Rom365, March 23, 1480, Yuri Ivanovich born, grandson of Thomas Palaiologos, (Roman Emperor in exile), grand nephew of Constantine XI of #Constantinople, son of Sophia Palaiologina, who had married Ivan III and became Grand Princess of Moscow.

English

@RomeInTheEast No, but knowledge of the things they have done to so many others is important. In 'their' country they must deny their genocides by law.
English

@ylmaz_odaba @TsilyM I've been there when it was damp, you can smell the pig's blood from the Roman concrete 🤣 🤣🤣
English

@TsilyM The true owners of Hagia Sophia are the Turks. Why don't you mention Jerusalem? The people living in Jerusalem are victims of deviants.

#Rom365 March 22, Feast Day of St. Isaac the Confessor, founder of Dalmatian Monastery, (named after St. Dalmatus) #Constantinople. When Arian emp. Valens was persecuting the Orthodox, Isaac warned him he'd die in fire. Some sources say Valens died in a hut, set on fire by Goths.

@365RomanDays @bulutuzay_ Wow, if France can colonize Algeria and that's a good things, the as per this definition a German can also defend Hitler's colonization of France as well.

Throughout the so-called “Muslim world” authoritarian governments continue to repress religious expressions of non-Muslims and ex-Muslims.
In March 2025, for example, the administrator of the Facebook page “Ramadan Breakers” received a two-year prison sentence and a fine for “promoting atheism” in Algeria. In the same month, Algerian social media activist Moh El Washam was sentenced to five years in prison for posting TikTok videos that authorities deemed critical of Islam.
The weakness and cluelessness of many Western leaders as well as their appeasement of Islam are amongst the reasons why Islam keeps expanding and Christians and other non-Muslims are almost completely defenseless in majority-Muslim countries.
Please stop celebrating the religious days of those who take pride in persecuting Christians:

@AsadAliSahi @bulutuzay_ The Arab occupation before France, Arab occupation now. Arab occupation of Egypt, Tunisia, Libya.
English

@universalnewsx I prayed for Ramadan at Aysofya Mosque. That moment was macigal. And i will be read some of Quran paper the next two days at this point. Thanks to Mehmet the Conqueror. @Kostaki317 too can pray in the trashy chapels.
English

@universalnewsx Would they dare go against the Law of Muhammad, who forbid Muslims to steal and worship in Churches, if Muhammad was here now?
English

@DeTahmineh They disobey Muhammed,
who said Muslims must not steal Churches, and must not use Churches as mosques.
They disobey the Law of Muhammed.
And the Romans used pigs' blood ingredient concrete for buildings.
English

Not a mosque.
Always a church.
I will never forget the fall of Constantinople, neither should you.

English

@JeremyVineOn5 @Mattallwright Strange country, millions of people paying for a bad television channel that they don't watch. Good value if you are tv employees rich enough to afford dropping a $1000 bill in the street and not pick it up.
English

"I do think that £180 is good value, to be perfectly honest..."
"There needs to be a restructuring to counter the argument..."
Carol Vorderman says the BBC license fee is good value for money.
