DeFi didn't get hacked. AdminKeyFi got hacked. HEX, PulseChain, PulseX, & ProveX coins have no admin keys. Stop calling admin key crap and DAO controlled by a few dudes (admin keys, but with extra steps.) DeFi. It's not DeFi. Oh, and Arbitrum seized $70M of the hackers coins, and another chain introduced privacy (but with a view key they say they'll hand to the government if asked right.) Some small portion of you figured out the solution. Follow me, learn from me, be saved. I can't save you from others choosing to click red instead of green, but I can teach you what's real and how to do things better. Much, much better.

If the KelpDAO incident is really caused by a LayerZero validator compromise, the impact on LayerZero could be serious. At the current pace: The protocol earns about ~$3M a year in fees. At that rate, it would take ~93 years to reach $280M. Net revenue is close to zero, so there’s almost no cushion to cover a major loss. This shows the weakness of ultra-low-fee models built for competition: when fees are pushed too low, there’s little financial strength left to handle big failures. In short, cutting fees to near zero may help win users in the short term, but it can also leave a protocol too fragile to survive a single small or major incident.

Yeah, I think we need a place to temporarily park our capital when we decide to buy or sell assets. During that time, the parked capital should also earn yield. Traders win because they get better prices. Liquidity providers win by earning from temporarily parked liquidity. The protocol and community win as demand for PCOCK grows. Smart contract risk is minimal since the code is battle-tested and open-source, and capital doesn’t need to be continuously committed for the protocol to function.
