Sec Lieutenant Arthur Conway Young son of Robert Young and of Annie Crockett Miller Young. Born in Japan where his father was founder and editor of the Japan Chronicle. Enlisted in 1915 with the Inns of Court Officers Training Corps, then transferred to the Royal Irish Fusiliers

Captain James Claude Beauchamp Proctor was killed in action at the Battle of the Somme on 1st July 1916, whilst leading his Company on an advanced German trench in a charge of the Ulster Division. Parents James and Frances J Proctor as living at Tullydoey House, Moy, Co. Tyrone.

Captain James Samuel Davidson died on 1 July 1916, the first day of the battle of the Somme.  As Brigade Machine Gun Officer he had been held in reserve when the initial assault began at 7.30 am #36thulsterdivision

A new and different Remembrance Sunday for me, still ceremonial and paying my respects to those that gave all. Carrying the Somme RBL Standard at the Menin Gate in Ypres. It was an honour and privilege to meet Simon Weston - lovely gentleman @RBLSomme

@36ulsterD @laGrandeMine @LochnagarCrater Daniel Doherty died on the 1st July 1916, his brother John has now been identified and will be rededicated on the 9th July at Savy British Cemetery on the 9th July. Both in the Skins Found at last , two brothers still to be found!
