Geraldine played with heart and focus, claiming the Region 8 crown and proving once again why they’re one of the toughest teams around. The Bulldogs will host the 5A Douglas Eagles this week. CM Gridiron's Week 0 Coach of the Week Presented By: Chris Thompson Insurance Agency- Country Financial 🏆 CM Gridiron Coach of the Week: Bayley Blanchard 🏆 History was made in Glencoe on Friday night as first-time head coach Bayley Blanchard led the Yellow Jackets to a gritty 7-0 victory over Southeastern in their season opener. At just 26 years old, Blanchard is one of the youngest head coaches in the state of Alabama—but his rapid rise through the program shows why he’s earned the trust of his team and community. The victory marked the program’s first win since September 8, 2023, and the first career win for new head coach Josh Clements.
