If real : the mouse pointer doesn't appear in-game unless the side menu is shown, you can take screenshots, the game icon is shown when booting up.
If fake : mouse appears without the side menu being shown, you can't take screenshots, gallery app icon shown when booting up.

The easiest and most accurate way of checking if these videos are fake is by asking the author to take a screenshot in-game, use mouse mode (on the side menu too) or put their console in sleep mode and turn it on again.

@Ronanzy1 @HoweyAllan95893 @Splashy080808 @TOAD_CIRCUIT Looks like insane luck to me (don't get me wrong the player is skilled), a boo would usually steal these shrooms within 30 seconds. It's also pretty common to see 2-3 blues per races. In fact he didn't get hit at all.

This is why physical media still matters to me. Open the case. Insert the cartridge. Start playing. It takes seconds, just like it did on my Game Boy. Buy it, borrow it, swap it with a friend, it just works. I hope we don't lose this.

The biggest change with the item system in Mario Kart World's 1.7.0 update is that for the first 20 seconds, everyone pulls mid pack items, minus most attack items. For example, 1st place pulls 5th/12 or 24 player items, allowing Triple Mushrooms & Boos! Running got a HUGE buff!
