And so many great-grandchildren, Rabbis, teachers, merchants, plumbers and truck drivers. So much so that the family tree counts over 2000 living descendants. Ita was a charming woman with a high-tension smile. It is said that this brave woman created one of the largest families of all Holocaust survivors who fled Hitler. She had a zest for life and devotion to Jewish ceremonies,she faithfully attended almost every circumcision, halaka, bar mitzvah, engagement and wedding of her descendants. With 2,000 people in the family, such events occupied most of the year. No matter what the occasion, she would pack a small suitcase, and travel with her family to celebrate the victory over Hitler. She was born in 1916, and passed away peacefully at the age of 93. Share in her memory.💙
