We’ve had a lovely afternoon exploring the canal, completing some surveys, sketch maps and looking at geographical features in the area. Well done, 3H 👏🏻

We’re all ready for our fieldwork trip this afternoon. We’ve all cracked the four-figure gird references - geography geniuses! 🌎🗺️😁

Sports day got off to a racing start this morning… 👏🏅

We had such a brilliant Ancient Egyptians day yesterday! We role-played, quizzed, researched, puzzled and had the MOST fun. 😁🤩

We’re enjoying our computing session today - we’ve started a new topic, ‘graphic design’. Today, we looked at how graphic designers have successfully created globally renowned logos… we’re having a go ourselves! #sjpscomputing

Well done to this young lady for raising £350 for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital - how generous and kind. The whole school are so proud of you, as am I! 😌

Yesterday in PSHE, we were looking at how the internet can be used for positive purposes! We came up with some great ideas. 💭

This young man chose to write about ‘The Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ in our reading scrapbook! He even brought in his own copies of the books to show others why he recommends them so much. Well done! ⭐️📚

Some of our incredible ‘The Beatles’ fact files, posters, flap books and drawings. We have really enjoyed learning about this special band as part of our Local History topic - what a way to showcase all of our knowledge 👏🏻🎶

We also enjoyed a virtual visit from the poet, Ian Bland. We listened & joined in with some of his very own poems & then we did a workshop to create our own! A great, belated World Book Day celebration! 😀
