Another fascinating scene from Alien left on the cutting room floor. Ripley consoles a clearly distraught Lambert, and asks if she had ever slept with Ash. Another moment people remember from the Foster novel but not from the actual film. As you can see the scene was restored and remastered- it was seriously considered for inclusion in the 2003 Director’s Cut version but ultimately still left out.

Uno de los momentos que más me ha impactado en la historia del cine, es el encuentro con el Space Jockey en "Alien" (1979).
Para que pareciera más grande, Ridley Scott utilizó a sus propios hijos y al hijo de un cámara, vestidos con trajes de astronauta de su talla. Esto creó la ilusión de que la criatura era el doble de grande.
H.R Giger lo diseñó con un estilo biomecánico, fusionando lo biológico con lo tecnológico.
La productora 20th Century Fox intentó eliminar la escena de la nave abandonada para ahorrar costes, pero los guionistas insistieron en que era imprescindible.
