I broke the all-time record for fairly earned reduced XP for the year: I got 214,394 reduced XP in 11,421 deathmatches and 241 matches from other modes. This gave me the pink medal + 6 profile ranks, it only took 34 Bonus Ranks to get the red medal. Happy New Year! #CS2

I received the blue medal, everything went exactly as planned

@rnmrnrnrnrnmm @x911bayoo @csmoneytrade He was reported and even doxxed by the owners of the walkbots whose bots he regularly kicked. So far, he hasn't had any major issues, except for one community ban, which he contested (the moderation suspected that one of his accounts was compromised). [2]

@rnmrnrnrnrnmm @x911bayoo @csmoneytrade Btw, I met a guy in Deathmatch with about 30 Prime accounts, who alternately played on each of them for 1.5 hours each week just to get drops. For him, it was a job; in Russia, where he's from, even that money is enough to survive. [1]

@rnmrnrnrnrnmm @x911bayoo @csmoneytrade Multiple accounts themselves aren't prohibited, but they depend on what the accounts are used for. If they're used for data parsing or commercial purposes, there could be problems. It's worth writing using all feedback channels.

@rnmrnrnrnrnmm @x911bayoo @csmoneytrade How dare you mention me? I'm an honest player, all my medals were obtained legitimately. I've been spending my personal time on this hobby for many years. And I'm glad that I'm finally not doing this alone, I found the one who shares this.

@Fezy_CS I think it's more rational for you to complete missions before the weekly XP cap. It still counts.

@3SemiN8 I’m planning on just playing comp and winning my death match games, until I hit my weekly xp cap, then doing the weekly mission after I’ve already hit the cap.

Another year, another medal. It's been almost 10 years since I first wanted to start collecting CS medals. For some reason, the addition of such badges to TF2 actually contributed to my leaving that game in favor of CS:GO. Where can I find time for both games?

@Fezy_CS Good luck with that! If you don't miss a single week (earning all 11,167 weekly XP) and complete all the missions, you could even earn a purple medal on November 18th (you won't have to complete a mission on that day, and you'll still have 199 weekly XP left).

@Fezy_CS Personally, I refrain from farming XP in deathmatch with Armory (KnifeOnly/ZeusOnly servers). The farming methods of these farmers are unethical. They may be banned; this has already happened to some such farmers with high-tier medals over the past year who farmed XP only there.

@3SemiN8 what do you consider to be the most efficient way to farm xp? Should I only be doing the weekly missions after I already hit my xp cap?

@Fezy_CS Completing weekly missions, ofc, plus deathmatch (although since '25 there are too many walkbots in this mode, which makes things worse at certain times of the day and in some regions). Also open terminals, you can receive up to 4 XP Bonuses from each collection (each gives 5kXP)

This medal may be a reference to Cache (these rifles may refer to the Mid's statues from there). Unfortunately, my favorite map in the entire game, the one where I earned my first purple medal in 2018, is still missing. But since there is such a medal, the map will surely appear?
