U.S. Supreme Court granted certiorari on this case, vacating the 2nd Circuit decision, remanding w/instructions to dismiss this case as moot (per argument by Donald Trump's lawyers). Does POTUS have authority to block Twitter accounts? That will have to wait for another day.

@Howodd69 Howodd ... ALL the anchors have been reading teleprompters since they were invented. (FWIW: My father worked for CBS News; I grew up in the CBS building on 57th St, spent every Sun there until I graduated from HS.)

@3Writeandwrong3 Because many of the so-called anchors too often just read the prompter. Their guests are booked by the producers. In the case of MSNBC, Andrea Mitchell and Chuck Todd are the least watched on the daily schedule.

There are 2 problems with Andrea Mitchell Reports. First, she is 75 years old and there should be age limits on cable news anchors, Second, I doubt she has much to say about the subject matter of her show, leaving it up to her producers. When she goes, so should the producers.

@Howodd69 Why should the producers go? I think the problem with aging anchors is that they lose ratings just based on how old they are. Viewers don't want people older than Walter Cronkite - prefer anchors who sound like their older brother/sister. Producers?

The second oldest cable news network anchor is Wolf Blitzer, who is 2 years younger than Andrea Mitchell. In the recent past, CNN has cut back on Wolf's air time and duties. MSNBC needs to cop a clue and cut back on Mitchell's air time.
