Makes me wonder who will become more mainstream in the classroom first; black human beings or AI? I’ll confess, I don’t like the answer. Knowing us as white folx? We are going to be more comfortable with AI teaching our kids than a black person. #Justsayin

Students thrive in quiet, calm and focused classrooms. Typicality & predictably are essential. Rigid systems carried out with high expectations allow for this. I really do think rows are far more effective that grouped tables. I also do zero group work.

This was definitely one of the highlights of #ECHC2023. One of the performers was talking about “inner child work” and I about dropped my jaw. I’m almost 51 and JUST STARTING to work on my inner child. Right @ValeriaBrownEdu ?

The drive home from Jersey allowed me space to reflect on how amazing @ValeriaBrownEdu is. She fulfilled her dream of putting on the best conference ever #ECHC2023. Val Brown did the thing!
