This is the heart of Beirut today. A city that has stood for 5,000 years. Israel is obliterating it — flattening civilian apartment block after apartment block. Not military targets. Civilian homes. Civilian infrastructure. Civilian life.

Absolute bombshell. The Pentagon just admitted that Trump put real estate developer Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner in charge of nuclear negotiations with Iran. When their amateur diplomacy failed, they launched a massive war. Incompetence at the highest level!

I don’t get it. If Hezbollah had flats in this block (unlikely in central Beirut but not impossible) why did the Israelis give everyone inside an hour to get out — including those they wanted to kill? And if there weren’t any Hezbollah people there, why destroy a building with dozens of civilians in it?
The Associated Press@AP

An Israeli airstrike struck an apartment building in central Beirut, on Wednesday. The Israeli army had warned residents to evacuate about an hour before completely flattening it as day broke.

The reckless campaign against Iran will weaken America’s president. That will make him angry. Be warned: he makes a very bad loser econ.st/4lA7lEQ

JD Vance, a man currently about as popular as leprosy on the European continent, has apparently decided to visit Hungary in the coming days to back Viktor Orban, another man about as popular as leprosy on the European continent, in his failing reelection bid.

La propagande russe invente de toutes pièces une « République populaire de Narva » pour tenter d’imposer peu à peu dans les esprits l’idée d’une population russophone opprimée en Estonie… et donc qui nécessiterait d’être « protégée »… un air de déjà vu.

The "Narva People's Republic" now has a flag, a coat of arms, and a Telegram network. Ukraine saw this playbook in 2014 – now it's appearing in a NATO member state. The same "People's Republic" branding that preceded Russia's Donbas occupation is targeting Estonia's border region. euromaidanpress.com/2026/03/17/nar…

I have been deliberately silent on social media for a while. I use all my social media platforms to promote education & make dreams come true for young minds. I rarely post anything about family or politics. This morning, Israel demolished the building I have an apartment in. It took 22 years of my work here & 20 years of my wife’s work to own this apartment. This madness has to stop.

The maximum an individual can legally donate to a candidate in an election is $3300. Elon donated $277M to Trump in 2024 because of loopholes rich people use to buy elections. If you care about election integrity — overturn Citizens United so our elections aren’t auctions.

In the dramatic circumstances of war, information must guard against the risk of turning into propaganda. It is every journalist's duty to verify the news, so as not to become a megaphone for power. They must show the suffering that war always brings to populations, which entails showing the face of war and recounting it through the eyes of victims.

Have you ever heard him say anything insightful? Something clever? A witty remark, suggesting high intellect? Have you ever seen him exude the statesmanlike gravitas of a world leader? Discuss policy with any depth of knowledge? No? You know why? Because he’s a fucking idiot🤦🏼‍♂️

Cardinal Pizzaballa: “The abuse and manipulation of God’s name to justify this and any other war is the gravest sin we can commit at this time…War is first and foremost political and has very material interests, like most wars. We must do everything we can to leave no room for this pseudo-religious language, which speaks not of God, but of ourselves.” vaticannews.va/en/church/news…
