@RetroNewsNow I was visiting my brother when that episode aired. I made him watch it even though he’d never seen the show before. He was annoyed, but I liked the episode.

📺On May 11, 1995, ‘ER’ aired the episode ‘Motherhood,’ directed by Quentin Tarantino, who was paid $30,000 by NBC. Julianna Margulies later said Tarantino often filmed only a single take so the network would have fewer opportunities to interfere with his edit. The episode was watched by an estimated 33.1 million viewers

May 11 - Freebie/Any Movie you Want to Post to X… The Big Street (1942) is a movie I don’t think gets nearly enough attention. Directed by Irving Reis, the drama has a killer cast that includes Henry Fonda, Lucille Ball, Agnes Moorehead, Ray Collins, and the always wonderful Eugene Pallette.
Henry Fonda is excellent (as always) and Lucille Ball gives one of her best performances- in a role WAY against type for her.
It isn’t a “feel good” movie by any stretch of the imagination but it is VERY compelling, front to back, with a story that’s beautifully told.
Henry Fonda and Lucille Ball had incredible chemistry… very similar to the one he shared with Barbara Stanwyck.

Anyone remember Product 19 cereal?
🥣Kellogg’s introduced Product 19 in 1967 as a no-frills, nutrition-focused cereal designed to compete with General Mills’ Total. Mark Harmon even appeared in an early commercial for it.
The origin of its unusual name is still debated, but the cereal remained on shelves for nearly 50 years before being discontinued in 2016
