Sterling Elementary - 3rd Grade

I love this! Not every child has a Mom or Dad at home, and special parent days can be difficult. Changing the titles of these events to be more inclusive makes every kid feel special no matter what their situation is 🥰

3rd grade field trip today to visit the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History! Such a fun trip and great experience with this wild group! (Thank goodness for Friday field trips 😂😴) @NMNH

What an day! We had a Field Trip to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History to see everything we’ve been learning in Science & Social Studies all year! 🐳🐧🦋🐛🐘🌙🌕✨We loved seeing the different ecosystems, habitats, & the ancient Egypt & ancient Mali exhibits.

After writing the final copies of our Personal Narratives, we recorded ourselves reading them on an iPad. We turned the recordings into QR codes! Today we listened to each other’s stories & wrote compliments! A fun way to celebrate our writing unit! @3rdSterling @SterlingElem
