@SpotterBrett Not about the third lane friend, but I’d at least like to get in our TRD pack for about 15 laps to get acclimated with speeds, closing rate and handling.

No one wants to go out there and practice 3 wide to see if 3 wide is gonna work in the race. It’s too risky to tear up a car. The drivers will know by lap 5 if the third lane is going to work once the leaders are full throttle. Practice would only matter if a rule change would happen should this experiment fail and they aren’t doing that. #Daytona

@GrodyJenner @STaranto92 2- also, no one is trying to sound smart. I’m just telling you what happened and more than likely why. I’ve been blessed to call a lot of “plate” races and wins, and understand the objective. You can disagree, but don’t discount my reasoning. Take care.

@3widemiddle @STaranto92 So if Carson was on top would it have no longer been the best lane for Bell? Shockingly, I don’t think most guys prefer the middle over the top or bottom when you’re getting forced 3 wide by a guy who broke the rules to take the bottom. Say facts more it makes you sound smart.

Tonight wasn't the first time Carson Hocevar has been three-wide for the win in the final corner with a chance to win Atlanta. Was he having flashbacks to Spring '25? "I think I got an inch out in front for a second in the center. So I would've liked that caution. [laugh]" Hocevar acknowledged there was no real opportunity for him to win if he didn't get clear of Ryan Blaney. BUT realizing that Bubba Wallace got penalized for going below the OOB line changed things "Shit, that lost me the race! Fucker.😁If he didn't get to the bottom there I could've won. Dammit."

@GrodyJenner @STaranto92 1- Maybe he would’ve, but only he can answer that. He did go with lane that had more momentum than the other. And he’s probably assuming that the bottom lane is going to clear, like it had all night, and then the outside lane is definitely going to roll to the line.

@GrodyJenner @STaranto92 Pretty sure the 20 pushed a “non teammate” to the finish. That’s not a narrative. That’s a fact. 20 went with lane that gave himself the best chance at the best finish he could get. That’s a fact. No one was willing to push the 77. That’s a fact.

@3widemiddle @STaranto92 Do we expect non teammates to push to the finish? Because I recall Carson pushed the “wrong” car to a finish while trying to win & everyone scolded him for it So should we be expecting non-Spire/Chevy cars to push him past Blaney? You’re using your narrative to frame the “facts”.

The 20 was gonna decide who won the race, even Carson said after the race he knew the wasn't gonna go with him & was gonna pick anybody but him to go with

@truckindumbass If we’re in the pack racing hard all night, will probably go thru1.5- 2 of the thicker, longer lasting batteries. Yes, without a doubt. Way more talk time here vs anywhere else.

@MattWeaverRA Talked to AJ at airport last night about this. Told him…”that what he did last night & also each week is super impressive.” Knowing the tools provided to us from TRD & JGR & how much they help me prep & do my job, makes what I see that group do on track each week unreal. 👍🏼

It kind of blows my mind sometimes when certain fans say 'why does Stellantis want to go to Cup with Kaulig' as if they don't fully understand what AJ and Ty are doing this year with no OEM support -- especially AJ threatening for a Chase spot. Kaulig's 2026 is really impressive.

The track is set, the lots are ready for campers, and in just two days practices get underway at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet as @NASCAR makes its return here after 7 years. I’ll be live Fri. AM at the track and wanted to go get a peek at how it was looking. @WGNNews

@w3kn @BrandonJonesRac He’s come a long ways in the last year and a half. He handled himself well and did a great job for us in all three series.

.@3widemiddle after listening to some of the radio from @BrandonJonesRac yesterday, I'm really impressed how well Cam does as a spotter. He's definitely learned quickly from the best.

@FreddieKraft @3widemiddle instead of busses, why aren't they using these aircraft loaders for spotters. They are scissor lifts, with a big deck on top.
