i feel like i cheated a bit and recycled colors but i love pink and green 😅 the background was originally going to be yellow gradient but i felt it didnt pop enough. also tried some very sparing shading in an attempt to give depth but remain true to the style

@penplaid i wouldnt have been able to resist either!! my gramma told me the same thing about my holiday barbies and i always wound up taking them out 😭 i wouldve had my french kitty all sorts of out the box LOL. she always looked like she would be so pleasantly smooth to the touch

Shes in near mint condition 😭My Mimi told me not to open it, because it would be worth some money one day (boy was she right LOL) but one day as a kid I couldn't help it, I opened the lid just to touch the top of the dolls head, and quickly put the lid and doll back... The curiosity was killing my little child heart I wanted to at least know what she felt like LOL Thank you again for sharing your art today and reminding me of these memories 💖💖💖

french kitty illustrations i made of the mighty fine character created in 1997. she had a series of dolls released in 2005 by madame alexander and i never forgot about them because i just thought she was so cute and beautiful. i'm really proud of how these turned out!
