A good man I know from Arkansas woke up in the middle of the night last Oct to find that his daughter has been kidnapped. Called 911. Left to look for her while he stayed on the line with 911. Found her in a car with a man who was already arrested and charged for grooming, stalking, and sexually assaulting her (and others) in the past and was under a restraining order to stay away from her! This man would not let the girl go, and as any good father and decent person would do-he shot the man and got his daughter to safety. It's been said that the man who was shot was a former police chief. Instead of hailing him as a hero for saving his own child's life, Lonoke County arrested him! Charged him with murder. Not only that, a judge put a gag on the family for months (it was just struck down this past late May by the Arkansas Supreme Court) and completely sealed the records even though neither side asked for this motion. Pre-trial starts on August 8. He will have to fight to stay out of prison. Pray for Aaron Spencer and his family.
