1. The Rehearsal (season 2) - Nathan Fielder is a genius. Performance art, or whatever you want to call this, is not grand enough. What he accomplished with this season is as good -- an important -- as anything that has ever been put on TV. I kid you not. #tv2025

2. The Pitt (season 1) - There was a moment in this show that absolutely wrecked me. I had not responded to a show like this in many, many years. Relentless and incredible and worth every accolade it could receive. A masterful achievement in television production. #tv2025

3. Severance (season 2) - The Loooooooong awaited follow up season (2 1/2 years) delivered so many great moments. And that final scene? Whaaaaaaa?! Incredible performances with every single actor. With Trammel Tillman going to the next level. #tv2025

4. Andor (season 2) - We may have reached the pinnacle of what Star Wars has to offer. Anything future show will be compared to this. And it is likely not to holdup. #tv2025

5. The Studio (season 1) - More than just a meta-comedy with insiders patting themselves on the back. It is also an ode to Movies and Hollywood. Just as important as what Doctors do! So much over the top chaos with great writing, direction, and cinematography. #tv2025

6. Invincible (season 3) - Consistently great year over year. Perfect voice cast. Amazing source material. This is amongst the best comic book adaptations ever. Funny and serious and emotional and exciting. This show delivers every time. #tv2025

7. Poker Face (season 2) - Curse you Peacock! And curse the idea of swapping out Natasha Lyonne. Look no further than Elsbeth to show the "howcatchem" premise is not what makes this show. We need MORE Natasha Lyonne. Not less. MORE. #tv2025

8. Peacemaker (season 2) - JULIAN! Up until the final episode this show was absolutely rocking. John Cena has matured so much in this role. Yeah, the finale was a major bummer, but I choose not to let that erase all the good the came before. #tv2025

9. Daredevil: Born Again (season 1) - Allll the Jon Berenthal please. Charlie Cox is great, too. And Vincent D'Onofrio is legit terrifying. The NYC they create is a hellscape. #tv2025

10. Animal Control (season 3) - The little comedy that could continue to play to its strength, which is the ensemble cast. Again, nothing groundbreaking, but the characters are so good that the show feel fresh and fun. #tv2025

11. Squid Game 2 - The obnoxious cliffhanger notwithstanding, this show made it interesting again. With new characters that you root for. Especially Hyun-Ju. That was a great character. I didn't think a second season made sense, but I liked this. #tv2025

12. King of the Hill (season 14) - You want to bring a show back the right way? Don't just make it more of the same. You didn't watch this show because you don't think it's for you. But it is so good. Except Peggy this season. Made her a monster. #tv2025

13. Stranger Things (season 5) - Without having seen the finale yet, bringing a background character (Holly) to the forefront for the season and pushing the original party to the back is bad development and writing. Also, Max, RUN to that PORTAL!! What're you doing?! #tv2025

14. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (season 17) - Missing Frank for most the season hurt. But that led to some really good gems. Is it Cake? The Dog Track...with the dog food (gross), and the fake friends and family episode. Continue to enjoy. #tv2025

15. Gen V (season 2) - Perhaps, as it was described to me, "the squeeze wasn't worth the juice", but I will say that ending delivered. The ending was a surprise that was really well done and sets up nicely with the final season of The Boys. #tv2025

16. Abbott Elementary (seasons 4/5) - Nothing groundbreaking with this show, but in a TV landscape deprived of the traditional sitcom, this show still delivers week after week. #tv2025

17. The Bear (season 4) - A step-up from the previous season, but it can be hard to continue to root for Carmine. Guy is dumb. Other characters had more interesting progress. With some optimism sprinkled in lightly. #tv2025

18. Squid Game 3 - The conclusion to one of the wildest shows I have ever watched. More of the same beats, but a sufficiently satisfying ending. #tv2025

19. Mythic Quest (season 4) - A bit of a let down with the mostly sudden cancellation, but storyline ideas were certainly at a premium at this point. The leads were still fun to watch. Worth a rewatch at some point in the future. #tv2025
