I'm not saying that Tosin should start against City, but that he's in contention to start if Rosenior decides to reward him for his performance against Port Vale.
And the list of available CB isn't looking great:

Nobody wants to hear this, but after his performance against Port Vale, Tosin is now among the top contenders to start against Man City. A coach usually rewards good performance with another start, especially when the competition is not very high. Tosin has Acheampong and Sarr as competitors. I think he's more likely to start, especially Rosenior will trust him as an experienced player to handle Haaland better than Acheampong and Sarr. Whether he will deliver or not, we will find out on Sunday.

The captain doesn't have to be the best performer on the pitch, just someone whom the other players respect & Sanchez/Tosin fits the bill

@Shoggydee @mcfc_son @FabrizioRomano Sanchez is probably the only other player you could say but he’s not even roseniors number 1 anymore and tosin has heavily underperformed regardless of his leadership. i think palmer out of all of them needed that boost of confidence and especially against PV it was a win win

Now every toddler is a captain at Chelsea. Why still carry a small club mentality after years of becoming "big"?
Captaincy is traditionally meant for a leader, a seasoned player who represents the coach in so many decisions when it comes to the relationship with the rest of the players but at Chelsea it seems and feels like the Academy all over again.
That won't happen at my club or any other big club apart from these london clubs.
