Why are people in Himachal so obsessed with building houses and hotels right on the edge of khadds and rivers?
Just because a river or khadd has not flowed through a patch of land in the last 10–15 years does not mean it never will. These water bodies always return to their original paths sometimes after decades & when they do they dont knock before sweeping away everything in their way.
Then the same people cry for compensation & blame the govt.
Who told you to build on riverbeds? Who allowed these structures to exist in danger zones? Is greed bigger than life?
Stop playing with nature like this. These rivers are not your private property. They were here before you and they will outlast your concrete dreams.
