Brennan Stegall

I’m excited and grateful to announce my commitment to continue my academic and baseball career at McKendree University. First, I want to thank God for blessing me with this opportunity and guiding me through this journey. I also want to thank my family for always supporting me, pushing me, and believing in me every step of the way. None of this would be possible without the sacrifices they made for me. Thank you to all of my coaches, teammates, teachers, and friends who helped me grow both on and off the field. Every lesson, practice, and challenge helped shape me into the person and player I am today. I’d also like to thank the coaching staff at McKendree for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to be a part of their program. I’m excited for what the future holds and can’t wait to get to work. Go Bearcats!

Congrats to the Varsity on their 13-2 win today over Affton. C.J Lake picked up the win while striking out 5. He also hit 2 💣’s and had 4 RBI’s. Sam Kestler had 3 hits including a double and a triple. Brennan Stegall had 3 hits and 3 RBI’s. Aiden Zehnle had a double and 2 RBI’s

The district seeds went as follows: 1. Jackson 2. Seckman 3. Vianney 4. Oakville 5. Lindbergh 6. Kirkwood 7. Northwest 8. Fox. We will play Lindbergh at Lindbergh on Monday.

Congrats to the Varsity on their 10-0 win today over John Burroughs. C.J Lake was outstanding throwing a complete game shutout striking out 7 while giving up just 1 hit. Kestler had 2 RBI’s. Kern, Zehnle, Stegall, Owens, Simokaitis and Delic each had an RBI. Great job boys!

Congrats to the Varsity on their 10-0 win over Northwest. Aiden Zehnle was outstanding throwing a complete game 2 hit shutout striking out 9 to earn the win. Lake and Simokaitis each had 3 hits and 1 RBI. Dylan Lyons had 2 RBI’s. Kestler, Owens, Stegall and Eisenhoffer had RBI’s.

Congrats to the Varsity on their 3-0 win today vs Lindbergh. Aiden Zehnle was fantastic throwing 6 shutout innings only giving up 3 hits while striking out 11 to earn the win. Max Simokaitis picked up the save. Brennan Stegall and Sam Kestler each had RBI’s. Great effort today!

Congrats to the Varsity on their thrilling 7-6 walk-off win yesterday vs Ladue in 8 innings. Delic had 2 hits including the game winner. Stegall had a hit and an incredible slide at home plate to score the winning run! Simokaitis pitched 2 scoreless in relief to pick up the win!

Congrats to the Varsity on their 10-0 win over Hazelwood West. Grant Boland pitched a gem throwing a complete game shutout striking out 7 while giving up only 2 hits. Sam Kestler hit a grand slam and had 5 RBI’s. Simokaitis and Owens each had 2 hits. Lake and Stegall had RBI’s.

Congrats to the Varsity on their 3-2 walk-off win over Vianney on a 2 out hit by Kaleb Owens! Lake struck out 8 in 3 innings. Schlicting and Medina combined for 4 scoreless IP in relief. Kestler/Stegall each had RBI’s. Herrin/Delic each reached base 3 times. Awesome team win!!

Congrats to the Varsity on their 7-2 win today over Northwest. Zehnle pitched 5 + strong innings to pick up the win. Newton came out of the pen and threw 1 2/3’s scoreless. Kern and Stegall each had 2 RBI’s. Next game is tomorrow vs Webster at Oakville. Game time is at Noon.
