Blue Archive’s new gacha system is getting a lot of backlash from players. The old system let you save up 200 pulls and choose any featured character. If you got one banner character early, you could still use your pity to grab the second one. Starting July 29, the new Summon Charge system works differently. You get a guaranteed featured 3★ at 100 pulls (50/50 chance it’s the one you want), and at 200 pulls you’re guaranteed the exact featured character. The problem is that as soon as you pull any featured character, your Summon Charge resets to zero. A lot of players feel the new system makes collecting both characters much more expensive than before.
